Bill resides in the Bundaberg district with his wife Lisa, who is also actively involved in the practice. As a Director and principal adviser of SEQ, Bill is proud to lead a growing team of experienced professionals who have their clients’ best interest at heart.

Bill has developed great relationships with many clients and their families over the past two decades, by helping them identify and reach their goals. By working from the ground up with major financial institutions, licensees and businesses,

Bill has a good understanding of his industry and what people are looking for.  His diverse industry experience was gained through experience in several senior appointments held in Banking, Lending, Insurance and Financial Advice. Bill continues to actively advise his clients and outside of work enjoys travelling and spending time with his family and friends.

 

Brendan Gale-Grant

Senior Financial Adviser

Brendan’s career as a Financial Planner spans over 15 years.  His extensive financial industry experience since 1994 has enabled him to gain an in depth understanding of how to work with each of his individual clients to help them achieve their goals.

As a Financial Planner, Brendan’s role is to help his family, help his clients and help the people in the business live happier lives.  Brendan firmly believes that no single element can be successful without the other.  Just like the stool, remove one leg and the remainder falls down.

Brendan considers himself to be an extremely privileged position.  His clients not only let him into their financial facts and figures, but more importantly they share with him their dreams and aspirations. Outside of work, Brendan enjoys spending time with his wife of 20 years and his 15 year old son. His passions are travel, cycling, and pretty much any sport.

 

Chris Rae

Financial Adviser

Chris was born in Bundaberg where he has spent most of his life. After leaving high school, Chris pursued a professional tennis career for 5 years, representing Australia and travelling the globe. Following his sporting career, Chris returned to his home town of Bundaberg to work in the building industry as an administrator for 13 years, working with 3 successful local companies in this period. During this time, Chris gained a wealth of accounting, management, financial and quality assurance skills.

Chris is also equipped with a Bachelor of Accounting through Central Qld University.

During his adult life, Chris has always had a keen interest in investing for the future and became passionate about also helping others achieve their goals. Chris therefore continued his studies by completing his Diploma of Financial Planning, before recently entering the Advice Profession.

As one of SEQ’s newest advisers, Chris offers his commitment and passion to help clients from all walks of life fulfil their lifestyle and financial goals.

Chris’s goal is to develop a long term trusting relationship with his clients, by working with them closely to uncover the best pathway to reach their short and long term goals.

Outside of work, Chris enjoys travelling and exploring new places. He also enjoys spending time and relaxing with his family and friends, playing tennis, gym, and watching motorsport.

Paula Cittadella

Practice Manager

Paula is a Bundaberg local who is married with 2 beautiful girls.  Extending over the past 20 years, Paula has held senior banking roles with a publicly listed institution, bringing a wealth of experience to the business, managing all aspects of the practice including quality assurance, workflow and staff training.  Paula works closely with our advisers, paraplanners, insurers and fund managers.  Her in-depth understanding of industry processes, financial products and client needs are a major benefit to SEQ’s advisers and clients, ensuring that our service is of the highest quality.

 

Shay-Lee Barrett

Associate Adviser

Shay-Lee is a Bundaberg local who is married with 2 children. Since 2002, Shay-Lee has actively progressed to a high professional standard within the Financial Planning industry, having developed a wealth of knowledge during her various roles including Stockbroking, Paraplanning and Advice Research. Shay-Lee has completed both her Diploma and Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning and is vastly experienced in the Financial Planning industry and enjoys complex advice situations. Shay-Lee collaborates closely with SEQ’s Advisers and Paraplanners to ensure our advice is the most comprehensive and of the highest quality, resulting in the best outcomes for our clients.

Michelle Hill

Senior Client Services Officer

Michelle has lived in Bundaberg for most of her life, and loves spending time with her family and 3 grown up kids.   Her past experience as Credit Analyst in the Banking Industry combined with her caring approach towards our clients makes Michelle an invaluable ingredient of SEQ’s success.  Michelle is responsible for all facets of the advice process, from research to implementation.   Michelle spends most of her time as a liaison between clients, superfunds, external brokers and insurance companies and also supports the lending services provided to SEQ’s clients.

Kaye Ferrar

Client Services – Banking

Kaye is one of the friendly voices answering your calls. Supporting SEQ’s Mortgage Advisers, Kaye ensures an efficient banking experience for our clients, making it easier for them – whether purchasing a home, refinancing or consolidating debts.

Kaye previously worked for the Queensland public service and has more than 15 years’ experience in quality assurance and data analysis. One of Kaye’s favourite quotes is by businessman, J.C. Penney – “Every great business is built on friendship”.

Kaye enjoys working for SEQ for the relationships she has made with clients and staff. When not at work, she loves to travel, is an avid movie buff and enjoys reading a good crime thriller.

Lisa Beimers

Business Manager

­Lisa was born and bred in Bundaberg, and is married to Bill. She has developed years of valuable experience in her past administrative and business roles, including operating her own successful business. Lisa is responsible for all of SEQ’s corporate and finance aspects, as well as providing ongoing support to SEQ’s advisers.

 

Deb Spratley

Client Services

Debra was born in Bundaberg and has lived in the area for most of her life. She is a Commissioner of Declarations and has been married to Peter for over 40 years and loves spending time with her family – especially the grandkids.

Prior to joining SEQ Advice Group Debra held a senior position with a respected law firm for over 30 years, followed by a 10 year career in a legal management role with a local bank. Debra’s vast experience is invaluable to SEQ’s team and clients in her role.

Sarah Cassidy

Client Services

Sarah was locally raised, married with 2 small children and has over 16 years experience with a major financial institution.  Sarah’s vast knowledge of financial processes is a great asset to SEQ’s clients and team, complimented by her strong focus on team support.  Sarah prides herself on providing exceptional customer service and believes this begins with supporting each other as a team.
